About
Jon Lorenzini is Chief Marketing Science Officer at LiftLab, where he plays a crucial role in helping advertisers make informed decisions on where to cut or add their next marketing dollar, bridging business strategy, technical measurement, and go-to-market execution to align with client outcomes, pain points, and company objectives.
Before joining LiftLab in 2022, Jon led marketing science for retail, restaurants, travel, and energy verticals at Snap Inc., and earlier managed CPG marketing science globally at Facebook. That platform-side experience gave him a front-row view of how measurement challenges show up differently across ad platforms and industries; knowledge he now applies to LiftLab's full-funnel measurement approach. His measurement roots go even deeper, having worked earlier for companies like Google, Mediacom and ZenithOptimedia Jon is also a community builder and leader. He founded WhimWe, a platform combining search, communities, and video, and in 2015 started Advertising and Marketing Analysts, now the largest advertising meetup in the world with over 16,000 members.
Jon is actively engaged in the measurement space, advocating for MMM and experimentation-based approaches that remain resilient as cookies deprecate and privacy regulation tightens. He writes with a systems-based thinking centred around connecting marketing science to the org design that determine whether measurement changes a budget.
