He's actually repainting all of A Humument as a fairly ongoing project; there have been various "passes" through the book, and the printed edition is a combination of a few of them. (See also his excellent <a href="http://www.tomphillips.co.uk/sculptur/20sites/index.html" rel="nofollow">20 Sites <i>N</i> Years</a>). Just a minor clarification - Tom Phillips is definitely not a graphic designer; he’s an artist..
