		<description>Exactly, I also used the Gartner Hype Cycle for the same project, describing 3-4 instances of location-aware applications at different moment of the cycle.

But I tend to prefer s-curves and what they express (don't like this notion of "cycles")</description>

		<description>It would be interesting to see how this could be combined with the hype cycle. As I see it, the Gartner hype cycle is concerned with higher level entities than the s-curve. So for example the "first wave" to "second wave" transition maybe relfects the transition from Type A to Type C adoption for the higher entity (e.g. location awareness).</description>
