I work for IBM labs and am keen to find out more about RFIDWasher - who knows how to get a hold of the product and its cost?

I got an email back from the rfidwasher folks - I believe it is real - alas its not yet available - I’m buying one for using at Walmart - I also hear Levis are now rfid’ing their 501’s

The amount of power necessary to permanantly disable any high or ultra-high frequency tag is very unlikely to be found in a very small remote control sort of device. This is simple physics, people. Save your money.

This product and website has been in development for many years since I started monitoring RFID. The site, designed to protect your privacy wants you to register….with personal details with the promise of a product that has been in development a long, long time.
Dont fall for the ruse.
