I do this purely because it helps me keep my head organized, allows me to build a trail of the things I thought and founs interesting, and because a blog is a great way to discuss with my community about some of the things I am interested in.

Conferences

I go to many conferences and rarely pay the entrance fee because either I’m on a friends pass (see “European alliance” below), speaking or on a press pass. I usually pay my travel and hotel expenses.

I am very close to a number of organizations managed by great people that I try to help and push as much as I can because I believe in their goals and values.

• Lift formed an alliance with a number of european conferences, namely Reboot (Denmark), DLD (Germany), SIME (Sweden), Kinnernet (Israel), Aula (Finland), Picnic (Netherland), BLOGAK (Spain) and LeWeb (France). We am helping these events in a number of ways (exchange of contacts, cross promotion, etc) as we believe they are playing a crucial role in the future of our continent and society in general.
