Exactly what I heard from people working at Parrot. Wait and see, it's a proto, wifi based, with pretty limited distance of control. A case of over-hype which will end up having a negative impact on the product?

Lets see how far it really flies from you, wifi does not go very far and iphone is not a very strong controller for wifi output, still if this could be hooked up to a PC and do it from there with 802.11n then I could see something cool, oh the game battles you could create. let the red barren live again.

Not just questions around privacy but civil disobedience, pacifism and all sorts of other things.

It's naive to think one can stop a war by en mass walking peacefully onto the battle field. But if people send or pilot their drones to do this for them then it's a strange sort of mass teasing, irritation, terrorism or protest.

You are restricted by physical borders, but your drones aren't.
