ICCA Speech: lessons learned doing Lift

I am in Victoria, Canada, speaking at the ICCA Congress (one of the yearly gatherings of the conventions industry) inside a session on 21st century events. The idea is to talk about the Lift conference experience, and show that a new generation of events with radically different needs is emerging.
