It is to my knowledge the first large TV channel that evokes its plans with a future. What they want to do seems interesting. As they expect that by 2010 “households connected to the high speed Internet will be at least as numerous than those with satellite or cable TV” they will turn into an “on demand service available 24 hours a day on many platforms”.

They most probably will take as a starting point the blog model to create, beyond the traditional contents, more local and personal things. At least it is what this sentence seems to say:

CBS also wants to benefit from its network of correspondents throughout the world to propose [... ] a large variety of on demand programs to more diversified audience sitting in front of their computers.

At least it is a good beginning. The article does not speak about the major point in my opinion (interactivity with the audience – maybe because they don’t know yet how they will handle it) but CBS at least has a strategy.
