You are not alone - many, many people have been ripped off by this vicious, ruthless and very clever scammer Mathias Ochsendorf, alias Alan Sasafahi, Rajiv, Hop Chuen.

He took me for $180 on two supposed American Airlines Incentive Flight Vouchers which were never received and which probably don’t exist. I uploaded the money on to a Green Dot Money Pak. He then proceeded to transfer and remove the money from his CardOnePlus account the next morning.

He e-mailed me a picture of his driver’s licence and his telephone number exactly as he has done to many other victims to gain their confidence. He also called me and left a message.

He apparently has been selling American Airlines vouchers, Southwest Airlines vouchers, United Airlines vouchers and advertises on all the free online classified sites like Craigslist, Classifiedster, community papers.

After realizing I had been ripped off I emailed this piece of S*** and called him every dirty name in the book. His reply made me realize that this guy is probably one of the worst online criminals out there.

I contacted Green Dot and CardOnePlus and they advised me that he is connected to some account in Singapore and that he has “compromised” a large number of people who made these transactions on money cards. What is even more threatening is that he brags about his accomplishments and admits that he is not only in the travel scam business but also has multiple Merchant names on Ebay which he must be using to sell items such as electronics which are never delivered.

In his language he shows no respect for anyone in North America and gave away that he could possibly be of Middle Eastern decent by using what appeared to be a Middle Eastern language quote.

This guy is very bad, very clever and very meticulous and thorough in how he operates his scams. It is probably going to a difficult task to stop him let alone catch and prosecute him.

This loss is a reminder that you can never be too careful when making online purchases.
